Responsibilities
Responsible for all manufacturing aspects of scaling up new products that are being introduced by R&D
Provide technical problem solving for day to day problems in the areas of production, process improvement, quality, service, scrap reduction, etc.
Assist in developing and managing capital projects from inception through installation
Responsible for conducting FE’s and ME’s on the manufacturing floor
Develop and write ISO-9001 procedures as required.
Responsible for leading six sigma initiatives
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
Academic or Internship experience with Design of Experiments (DOE), SQC, SPC and other techniques in general analysis.
A working knowledge of ISO9001, QS9000, Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels including senior management
A good understanding and ability to practically apply complex mathematical and statistical formulas.
